MAPWORMS at SOMIRO School on miniaturized and soft robots: what a wonderful experience!
SOMIRO is a Horizon 2020-funded project working on the development of energy-autonomous swimming milli-robots for reducing the environmental impact of farming. In the framework of the project, a 4-days school on “Miniaturized and soft robots” was organized and on Wednesday 11 October, Arianna Menciassi and Linda Paternò presented the MAPWORMS project.
MAPWORMS at BRIGHT-NIGTH: Researchers’ impact in everyday life!
On Friday 29 September, the BRIGHT-NIGHT was back in Tuscany: the European Night of Researchers, i.e., the event of the European Community born in 2005 with the aim to disseminate science results and their impact on citizens’ daily lives in a fun and inspiring way. For the MAPWORMS team, it was an amazing opportunity to spread project results and objectives with colleagues, students, and people of all ages!
Living Machines 2023: “Worm-Inspired Robots”
The 13th of May 2022: save the date because this is when the kick-off meeting took place and the 6 partners of the project reunited to celebrate the birth of MAPWORMS. We are talking about a transitional consortium of 6 partners from 6 different EU countries, operating under the European Union’s Horizon research and innovation program with a high level of specialization in robotics and technology.
